Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions Here you find answers to some of the more frequently asked questions that we receive. We hope that this can be a useful resource to you. If you still have questions that are not answered here or you would like to contact us for another reason please feels free to contact us.

Question : How old does my child have to be to play?
Answer : Your child must have turned 5 years old by January 1st of the current year. The age of your child on that date sets their "League Age". If we have enough interest in 4 year old players for T-Ball, we can get a waiver to allow them to play.
Question : Who will be my child's coach?
Answer : Coaches are all volunteers. At the time of sign-ups we can not tell you who will be your child's coach. Coaches are based on who volunteered to coach and the make up of the children that have signed up. Some players will be required to enter a draft. Once your child has been assigned to a team, the coach will contact you.
Question : Is there a discount for signing up more than one child?
Answer : No. Different age groups have different cost requirements so we are unable to offer a discount.
Question : What is the volunteer fee? Will I get that back?
Answer : The volunteer fee is a per family surcharge (not per player) that is refunded when a member of your family volunteers in the concession stand, umpires games or coaches a team.

This surcharge is used to provide start up capital for the concession stand.

Question : Why does my child have to participate in tryouts?
Answer : If your child is league age 9 or above, they must attend the tryouts. The tryouts do not determine if your child will play, they help determine where your child will play. They are so that coaches and the board can determine what skill level your child is at. This way they can be drafted and/or placed appropriately.

Every child will play.
